Electrical Resistance Tomography System

LS-SIERT is a multifunctional, high-precision electrical resistance tomography system. It reconstructs the conductivity distribution of multiphase mixtures from electrical resistance measurements to visualize flow processes. Features include multiple electrode configurations, switchable measurement modes, high-speed acquisition and adjustable gain levels. The acquisition rate reaches up to 500 frames per second. The system visualizes mixed-material flow across a range of applications to support industrial process control.

System Components

Sensors

ERT electrode materials: SUS304, SUS316 and titanium alloy.

Electrode arrangement: array.

Sensor types: single-plane and dual-plane electrode arrays.

Standard configuration: a single-plane, eight-electrode sensor sample is included. Customized electrode-array sensors are available on request.

Industrial applications: the optional LeEngSTAR LS-ERT industrial sensor supports pipeline flow measurement, with a DN50 pipe diameter and a pressure rating of 2.5 MPa.

Data Acquisition System

The high-performance, high-precision electrical resistance tomography acquisition system supports up to 16 electrodes. Measurement modes include single-plane arrays with 4, 8 or 16 electrodes, and dual-plane arrays with 4 or 8 electrodes per plane. It supports two-dimensional cross-sectional conductivity reconstruction using single-plane ERT, as well as correlation and three-dimensional calculations using dual-plane ERT. Data is transferred via USB or Ethernet.

System Software

LS-SIERT software controls the acquisition system and displays and stores electrode data. Built-in models reconstruct the spatial distribution of materials in the measurement region.

Operating environment: 64-bit Windows.

Image reconstruction algorithm: linear back projection (LBP).

Data display: real-time tomographic images with zoom and rotation.

Data storage format: TXT.

Customized software development is available.
